Defense Express reported on June 10 that the Ukrainian army conducted a missile attack against the forward command post of the Russian army’s Dnieper combat group located in the Cape Arabat area in Kherson.
According to Defense Express, two British-funded Storm Shadow cruise missiles hit a base located inside a building in the village of Shchaslyvtseve, Henichesk district in Kherson.
Witnesses said many loud explosions were recorded after the Ukrainian missile attack.
In particular, Defense Express said that the base that was recently attacked was visited by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a front-line inspection trip in April.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has not yet commented on the above information.
In the opposite direction, the Russian military conducted a missile attack against Ukraine’s Mirgorod air base.
According to military news site Avia-pro, the above raid has significantly reduced the combat capabilities of the Ukrainian air force.
Previously, on May 29, Avia-pro reported that the Russian military conducted a missile attack on a Ukrainian air base in Khmelnitsky province.
Avia-pro said this attack was prepared in advance, with the main target being Ukraine’s Su-24 fighter jet squadron.

In a statement released during a meeting with his British counterpart Ben Wallace, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov revealed that the Ukrainian Air Force is using Su-24MR bombers to launch Storm Shadow cruise missiles into
Minister Reznikov highly appreciated the coordination between the Su-24MR attack and the Storm Shadow missile, and affirmed that the hit rate of this `game-changing` weapon has been 100% since its introduction.
Avia-pro believes that Russia’s missile attack on May 29 was therefore carried out in response to Storm Shadow missile attacks from Ukraine in recent times.
