(Dan Tri) – The Russian army conducted a large-scale raid on cities in Ukraine last night.

In an announcement posted on his personal Telegram page on the morning of June 20, Mr. Andryi Sadovyi, Mayor of the Ukrainian border city of Lviv, accused the Russian army of conducting a large-scale raid on the city.
Mr. Sadovyi confirmed that Russia’s large-scale attack caused many large explosions, thereby shaking the city of Lviv and surrounding areas.
According to some sources, the Russian military used suicide drones (UAVs) for the attack on Lviv.
Also on the morning of June 20, Russia’s Tass news agency reported on many large explosions recorded in the capital Kiev area and other areas in Ukraine.
The Kiev city military administration confirmed that the air defense force in the Ukrainian capital has been activated.
In addition, at dawn on June 20, other shaking explosions were also recorded in the Cherkasy, Vinnitsa and Khmelnitsky areas.
The casualties and detailed damage of the above raids have not been announced at this time.
Lviv, located in western Ukraine, is Ukraine’s strategic logistics center in the military campaign with Russia (Graphic: BBC).
Regarding Lviv, the city is located in Western Ukraine, about 60km from the Polish border.
According to Reuters, most of the military equipment and necessary supplies that Western allies transferred to Kiev were brought into Ukraine by road through the Lviv gateway.
However, in a number of recent statements, President Vladimir Putin and senior Moscow officials have warned that the Russian military will attack Western weapons supply routes to Ukraine in retaliation.
