Avia-pro page reported on June 18 that the Ukrainian army, with support from armored personnel carrier units, is trying to break through the Russian defense line on the vital road connecting Svatovo with Kremmina in the Lugansk separatist region.
According to sources from Avia-pro, soldiers from the 67th Mechanized Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian army conducted many attacks against the positions of the Russian defense forces.
Observers say that the scenario in which Kiev controls the above road and the city of Kremmina will seriously weaken Russia’s position in Lugansk.
